App Icons dissapeared from screen AFTER ios 12.1 update

How do I get them back onscreen? They are STILL in my phone when I go to the app updates, because it says "open" and when I do it will open them up....this is for ALL the apps I downloaded... Walmart, Lowes, etc.

iPhone 6, iOS 12.1

Go to Settings>General>reset and choose to reset the home screen layout. This should resolve your issue.

Try restarting your phone or try a forced restart. For a forced restart, Hold down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time until you see the Apple logo
