On my phone when I go to settings>privacy>camera nothing shows up for me to allow my camera to be used on apps. I was wondering how I fix this?

To clarify, if you have nothing appearing under that section it basically means you have no apps on your device that use the camera or you haven’t opened an app up yet that does.


Once you open an app that can use your camera it requests permission, when you agree or decline (as answered by Dutchlioness75) that action then gets “recorded” under the Privacy setting for Camera by offering a “toggle” switch, it’s off if you declined and on if you gave permission.


The toggle allows you at a later date to change your mind.


If you are implying nothing appears when you know you have an app that can use the camera then I would try deleting the app, restart the device and add the app back again (sometimes a Force Restart clears up niggling issues as well).
