I once approved a purchase of an app on my son's phone. I no longer want him using the app. I can delete the app, buy he can also re-download it without it asking me for permission. How can I delete this app from our account altogether and prevent him from re-downloading it without asking permission for that one particular app?
Apple, please allow parents to move purchased apps from child AppleIDs to parent AppleIDs, or rescind Parent Approval. This is best done on the Parent Phone in Settings>iCloud>
Additionally, allowing us to preapprove and push app installs here would be fantastic. PLEASE! For good measure, having distinct control to allow an app on their iPad, but not allow it on their iPhone would be icing!!

You can't delete any purchase from an account, nor will he require permission to redownload it. All you can do is try hiding it (Hide apps for your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Mac - Apple Support) but that won't stop hm finding it in the store and redownloading it, or hide the App Store app on his device(s) (Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions > iTunes & App Store Purchases > Installing Apps 'off')
