my iPod (classic) 30gb has frozen on me while attatched to itunes. i unplugged it because it wasnt getting noticed by iTunes, and now the screen is stuck on 'do not disconnect.' this has never happened to me before, does anyone know what to do?

this has never happened to me before. Tried to reset to factory settings but does not allow - still stuck on Do not disconnect logo - HELP?
