No sound playing MP4 on QuickTime

Certain MP4 files do not play with sound through QuickTime. I downloaded Elmedia Player and the sound came back. It's too bad that I have to rely on external software. The same MP4 files play fine on the Windows Media Player on my PC.

I just upgraded my macOS to Mojave version 10.14, but this problem existed previously as well, with High Sierra.

FCPX audio playback out of sync since switch to Catalina I bought the new 16 inch Macbook Pro (Catalina) and the audio is out of sync when I'm editing clips in FCPX. I've tried the same project on my 2015 13 inch running Mojave and it is fine. I've tried rebooting and resetting the graphics card using cntl+option+P+R and it works for a second but reverts back. Anyone else having this problem?

iMovie displaying message "No Importable Files" - MacBook Air Hello! I am trying to use iMovie for a project, and when trying to import mp3 files, it is displaying this message: I have searched and found that iMovie does allow mp3 Audio files, however this is nota working. Does anyone know what working. I am on a MacBook Air (macOS Monterey 12.5) version of iMovie is 10.3.3. Thanks!

MACSTUDIO Problem Quicktime Videos120Fps I have a problem with Quicktime that it won't play videos. The videos formats are 120Fps .mp4 and .mov codeced by h264 mpeg-4 avc / h265.
