Viewing The Contents Of A WebArchive

Does anyone know if you save a Web Archive can you actually view the contents of what's inside?

Hi Tom

I recall that on previous versions of Tiger this was possible, since I used it myself when looking into why Safari's web-archives still needed internet access for many of the images.

Seems that's been changed now & would need a file-type resetting somewhere to get inside without a 3rd party app.

I don't have an answer myself now, but I'll post back if I find something..... Maybe one of the Level 4's will know eh?

No, I mean once the Archive is saved can you open
this foler and explore the contents? Can I find the
image folder and things like that?

It's not a folder, just a single file. You can change it back into a folder using the app mentioned by QuickTimeKirk. If you open an archive with Safari you may be able to drag the images onto your desktop if you want them.
