Epson R2400 printer driver won't install?

I can't get my Epson R2400 printer to appear in the print dialog box in Photoshop on my MacPro. I have downloaded and run the appropriate file from Epson (11771.dmg) repeatedly to no avail, restarting the system each time. I cannot find any printer driver file when I run Find File on the keyword Epson.

I did not have this problem with my MacBook, however, which runs the printer just fine. Interestingly, Find File on the MacBook also does not identify any printer driver file.

Thanks for your help. I think I have my printer set up correctly now as the printer actually tries to print now. I've come to the conclusion that there's something wrong with the printer. And now I'll attempt to find the problem...
