Firelite Smartdisk media not recognized
I'm not sure which forum to post this question in, but hopefully there is someone who has an answer...
I purchased a Firelite Smartdisk 120 Gb USB 2.0 portable back up disk and when I plug it in, my powerbook G4 won't recognize it. I went to www.smartdisk.com support site and it looks like I need to get a power supply for it. One of the reasons I bought it was that it doesn't require a power supply. I have a Firelite Smartdisk 80 Gb firewire back up disk and it works fine. Can you recommend a 100 or 120 Gb (or larger) hard disk media that plugs into firewire or USB and doesn't require a power supply?
