I'm having a problem. Usually, if you are using a web broswer (ie Safari, Firefox) you can increase or decrease the font size by holding down the command key and scrolling up or down, respectively. This has worked for me in the past, but recently, it seems to ignore increasing font size and it merely scrolls up or down. The command key works just fine. The scroll wheel on my mouse is fine and the two finger scroll works fine. I can work around this by using "command and -" or "command and +"but that can be a hassle sometimes. Does anyone know how I can fix this? Any help is much appreciated.

I've never seen that feature in my browsers. However, if you press CONTROL while using the scroll wheel it will zoom the screen. This feature is controlled in the Keyboard & Mouse preferences under the Mouse tab.
Thank you for your reply. I know about the control + scroll to zoom in on the screen. It's not quite the same though, since the zoom increase the ENTIRE screen. Increase the font only affects the browser window, which is convenient when I don't want everything to be enlarged. Any other ideas?
That's not a feature of the macbook pro, only way to do it is command & + or -.
Wow, I can't say I believe that. I've been using that feature with my MacBook Pro for about a year now with firefox. It only recently stopped working. Can anyone else verify this?
I wonder if perhaps you have the commands programmed into your mouse software? Safari has no such feature. Firefox may, but I don't use Firefox.
