changing the wireless device name.

I'm wondering how i would go about changing the wireless name that shows up in the connected devices in my router for my MBP.

I mean the name that my laptop calls itself and shows up in the router, not the network name.

System Preferences > Network > Network adapter used > TCP/IP > DHCP Client ID. By filling in this field it will appear with that ID with the DHCP server.

Login to your router and change the name of the Network, then reboot the router.

That does not change it. My full name, whcih i use as my username still comes up in the router as the device name
