iPod folder not showing up

iPod folder not showing up

when i connect my iPod to the desktop computer and go to my computer and click on my iPod, the folder iPod_Control shows up. but when i connect my iPod to my laptop and go to my computer and click on my iPod, the folder is not there. How do i get this folder to show up when i connect it to my laptop?

HP laptop, Windows XP

iPod_Control is a hidden folder. so you may have "show hidden files and folders" selected on the desktop, but not on the laptop.

on the laptop, open "My Computer" and go "Tools > Folder options". click on the view tab.

in the "Advanced settings" list, open the "Hidden files and folders" folder, and select "Show hidden files and folders". Click OK.

do you see the iPod_Control folder on the laptop now?
