runtime error; terminate in unusal way

every time i open itunes, it opens, than a sec later an error message comes up saying...runtime error! This application has requested runtime to terminate it in an unusal way...i've seen other posts about runtime errors..but none that say this..and in those posts it seems quicktime does not open either..but my quicktime opens fine..what's going on?????

I'm just another person with the same problem... What the heck is going on here? Even logging in as a guest I cant get it to work. If anyone figures it out please email me:

Now I know how long it will last.
Until today.
Same exact problems all over again--the C++ runtime error.
I guess I'll just use the same strategy that has worked for me in the past...try opening iTunes every day until one day it will work!

I think I've got it!!! In coming to the itunes support page which seems like for the hunderth time, i noticed there was some changes and when i cliked on i tunes saw a link that said "having issues? first download the lastest edition." or something like that...that takes you to a link where you download 7.1.1 version..i download it and install it..and watched and worried that it would erase all of my songs, but after it was done...BAM!! there it was!! no runtime anything!! I will not mark as solved just yet though..lets see if it can make it through a week first!
