iPod Nano formatation... which is the best?
I live in Brazil and we don't get to see too many Macs around here, but I have one (and really love it). I have an iPod (4th gen 20GB) and it works very well, I've got it formated in FAT32. I use it in that fashion because I have PC's at home and often use it as an external HD for data transport. In order to do that, I had to format it in a PC and I really don't get what apple has against FAT32 in mobile devices.
I'm buying myself a new iPod nano 2nd gen, it should arrive this next weekend. I've been wondering how should I format it. I know this baby should be able to sync a lotta more stuff than the older 20GB model, like photos (from iPhoto), calendars, contacts, everything from my Macbook Pro... but I would very much like to use it for data transport and to do THAT I would need it to talk to PCs.
Here's my question. If I choose FAT32, am I able to sync everything with my Mac? Do I loose something? I want it working 100%, you see...
Thank you very much, and sorry, english isn't my native language.
