Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT

Java is Unavailable

When I try to access certain chat rooms or live scoring sites, I can't and get this message instead:

"Java is unavailable or not installed."

I have J2SE 5.0 installed.

Any cure?

Macbook Pro, Mac OS X (10.4.9)

hi friends! i dont know if i have the same problem, but certainly, java doesnt work since i installed the lastest version of quicktime 7.1.6, last updates for mac, and the vlc player. i have a mac os x intel 10.4.9. i’m really depressed cause i have tried everything, even your recommendations, but java still doesnt work. a coffe cup appears in safari and a blank screen in firefox… no messages, no nothing, thats all. anybody can help me, please??
