iTunes and Powerpoint

How do I get to play a song purchased via iTunes into a Powerpoint presentation? I get a message "powerpoint couldn't import a sound from the selected file". I can import non-iTune sounds OK.

You cannot use a track purchased from the iTunes Store directly in PowerPoint. Those tracks are copy-protected and only Apple applications can play them. You can, however, burn the tracks purchased from the iTunes Store out to an audio CD, at which point it will act just like any other normal audio CD.

I want to use iTunes songs on my Powerpoint presentation for my school graduation ceremony. Can I reproduce a copy of the Powerpoint presentation legally for the entire class of students using the iTunes songs and our own pictures? Thanks!

Please see Dave's answer. You cannot directly use iTunes purchases in any other program.

But for legal reasons, purchased music can only be used for personal usage.

Is there any way to pull an online purchased tune into Powerpoint to enhance the presentation? I guess I should have purchased a CD with the song, rather than wasting my time and money with Itunes. Why does apple prevent me from using a tune that I "PURCHASED" from importing it into Powerpoint?
