Good Ethnic Instrument Plug Ins?

Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew of any good "Ethnic" (such a general term I know, but most vst's i've seen go by that name), and specifically Middle Eastern instrument plug-ins? Any recommendations would be appreciated, for any plug-ins that work with Pro 7. Many thanks...

Can you open East/West RA samples in Kontakt format in Battery?

I've been looking to add more ethnic samples to Battery, maybe that is a possibility?

i have RA, and its a pain. i have most of the sounds already from world winds and rare instruments. RA is sort of amalgamated out of that. but is the kompakt plug-in or intakt or something useless. very annoying to use. give me esx any day.

that said, there are some good sounds and some good patches, but i find it just too annoying.

If you've got Stylus RMX, I'd recommend checking out the "Ethno Techno" expansion pack produced by Eric Pershing. If you don't have stylus RMX and are just looking for lots of ethnic instrument loops and a few basic instruments then you can't go wrong with Apple's World Jam Pack ($100). For a full on instrument though, definitely download the MOTU Ethno synth. Plenty of options, just a matter of what you want to spend.
