Anybody have luck play ogg files/streams in itunes?

You need to download and install some third party plug-ins:
Xiph QuickTime Components (XiphQT)
Playing ogg vorbis files using iTunes

Alternatively download VLC Media player, it will play Ogg, FLAC and a whole variety of other audio and video files::

Hi there,

I moved the OggVorbis.component into my /Library/QuickTime folder and restarted itunes and no workie. I cannot listen to the ogg stream that VLC plays fine.

Any clues what could be wrong. Does being on an Intel MBP matter?
