Retrieving deleted tracks

If you deleted a Region or Track and saved the projects, the deleted items are gone. If you haven't saved, then you can use the undo menuItem, but that's it, sorry. B-(>

Yes, recordings are stored within the project you create.

Perhaps instead of hypothetical questions you could explain exactly what you did and what you want, and we might be able to offer a solid answer.

Hi, last night i was working on a song in garageband, i recorded all the tracks directly into that project. I saved regularly.
However, i later re-opened the project, only to find the messege:

AUDIO FILE 'Recording#01.aif' NOT FOUND , it searched but didnt find,
then another messege

AUDIO FILE 'Recording#03.aif' NOT FOUND, and didnt find that either

(three of the other tracks were left intact)

these 2 were VERY IMPORTANT tracks!!! of original recordings. They were not copied and pasted from anywhere, they lived THERE in that project! WHERE ARE THESE FILES, ? could they be somewhere on the computer,? I am desperate to find them, as i am very distraught!!!!

GarageBand is ALWAYS doing me over, i often have this problem and also get INVALID REGIONS way to often! WHY WHY WHYYY???? please help me, im losing my mind!

iMAC G5 Mac OS X (10.3.5)

make a copy of the project file, control-click the copy and choose "show package contents". open the media folder. if the recordings are there you can try dropping them back into the gb timeline. if they are not there, then i'm afraid they are definitely gone.
