Cant export photos to SD Card

Try exporting the pictures to a desktop folder, then drag the whole folder to the SD card on your desktop. Sometimes the problem is that they won't go into the root level of the card.

You can rename them during the export from the export dialog to see if that helps. Use Album name would ensure they all have different names, up to 99 photos at a time. For more than 99 photos, group into separate albums, export each album into a desktop folder.

I have a frame also and had problems putting files into the root folder. I was able to finally get them in there by adding a few at a time, particularly after I hit a particular number, in my case it was 79. From there I had to add 1-3 at a time but did finally get up to 102 files. My frame could not view them in a folder.

I am trying to export to a sd card. I first exported the pix to a folder on my desktop, then dragged them to the card reader. I keep getting the message that the sd card cannot be modified. The card is unlocked. Any ideas?

Can you add a single file to the base directory of the card or an empty folder to the card? When you select the card and bring up the Info window (Command-I) what is the ownership and preferences set at?

It won't allow me to do anything. The ownership says read only. I don't now how to change it.

It was a bad reader/writer. I purchased a new one, worked like a charm.
