Last Name First Name - Email Display Issue

I have seen this question posted a few times, but no real answers. I cannot stand that my Address Book contacts always show up in my email To line as: Last Name First Name. No comma. Regardless of the order in Address Book.

This is a HUGE problem when the last name is something like Young or Little (both of which I have in my contacts). You end up with mail addressed to Young Robert or Little Ashley. What the . . . ?

Is there any way to change this? It is moronic.

I agree with this problem. I have seen replies stating how the data is stored. I have no problem with it being stored with commas as delimiters. It is only the format of the names in email addresses. The English convention for last names first is to separate the inverted order with a comma. Can't someone correct this?

This is not a question of storage in the database, it is simply how Mail handles the format of the email address and to have it comply with modern English usage.
