Quicktimeh264.qtx (Quicktime 7.1.6)

anyone know of a work around for this quicktimeh264.qtx error. Happens everytime I try to open a webpage (I can open files with it, and I have no problems running quicktime -- other than trying to update it I get a Buffer Over run detected) Other than having a Mac I am well with specs:

Any help would be greatly appreciated:

Again I only have the quicktime errors when I try to open a webpage up (can't even open up the OS_X page on apple.com) Focred to shut down witht he quicktimeh264.qtx error

When I try to update via the quicktime player I get a buffer overrun error.

Ok here are the errors I am getting I mainly use Firefox but on occassion use I.E.

Ok after painful staking hours I have figured out the problem. The error is related to direct draw:

In the QT player go to
Edit
Preferences
Advanced tab
UNCHECK Enable DirectDraw Acceleration
UNCHECK Enable DirectDraw on secondary monitors

Direct3D does not affect the QT program

I am now able to open up the OS_X Apple web page and my Kinoma software is now working.



Hope it helps anyone else having the same problem.
