Epson Photo R220 Problems

I have just recently switched to an iMac in the past few weeks and have had some problems printing any of my documents in Photoshop. I installed all the drivers I could find on the Epson website and the printer shows up and prints documents ok, but the colours are way off. Dark greens are almost black, browns are almost black, purple came out greyish, bright yellow was a mustard type colour, aqua blue wasn't showing up at all, blues were very greyish, and some even green warm reds were cold and creams were pinkish . I cannot see any colour settings for the Epson and the program for the Mac which controls the printer is drastically different from the PC equivilent. There are far less controls and it is no-where near as power ful as the PC one. I ask for help here because so far it seems the only place I will get a straight answer. I don't know quite what it is exactly that will help me solve this problem so any help is appreciated. 🙂
