Folks, what is the best way to make copies of DVD's? I've got one DVD here that I know is only 76 mins long and when I create an image (takes forever) and then try to burn this image to a blank DVD (4.7 G, good for 2 hrs), the computer tells me there is not enouph space on the DVD. Plus, I used the compress option when creating the image.
What is going on here and is there a better way to copy DVDs?
When using "New Image" from the DVD drive I set "Image Format" to "DVD/CD master". Compression will not make it much smaller because the data on a video DVD is already compressed.
I've copied the entire contents of a dvd to my hard drive and now have a Video TS folder and a blank Audio TS folder. I just want to burn new disks to have physical copies of the original, which is now out of my hands. Roxio Popcorn is the answer?
Use DVD Imager

to make a disk image file from the VIDEO_TS folder, then burn the file with Disk Utility.
