ATM Font Manager

I needed to have the hard drive on my G4 replaced.
I have my projects (I'm a designer) backed up on an external drive. But when I now start up the computer, and open one of my projects, the fonts aren't activated. When I try to launch ATM, I get a message that says:
"ATM was not loaded when you last restarted. ATM Deluxe will not be able to sample, print, activate or deactivate."
Help.
How do I get my fonts to load again?
Thanks.

G4, Mac OS 9.2.x

Hi Don,
Thanks for checking in on my question, I had taken the ailing computer in to a repair shop (TekServ in New York), and when they found the old drive to be irreparable, they
installed the new one, and moved all the software over (somehow) from the bad drive. When I got the computer home, it had an operating system installed, and an applications folder containing all the apps that were on the old drive. TB

OS 9 compatibility for ATM Deluxe requires version 4.6.
OS 9 compatibility for ATM Lite requires v. 4.5.2.

ATM Deluxe does not work reliably in Classic mode under OS X, and it is no longer being supported or developed by Adobe. ATM Lite does work well in Classic mode (though of course it doesn't have nearly the features that ATMD has), and it is still supported and available from Adobe's web site.

Hi, Opdrift -

Eww is quite correct - OS 9.1 and later require the versions he has posted. The currently available versions (probably the last ones) are -
ATM Deluxe - 4.6.2a
ATM Light - 4.6.1a

It is possible that your original ATM Deluxe 4.5 was updated to an OS 9.1 acceptable version at some time; or that it worked through a fluke. In particular, ATM Deluxe 4.5 is not compatible with the versions of World Script that come with OS 9.1 and later as part of the standard OS install.

As I recall there is a no-charge updater to update ATM Deluxe 4.5, available from Adobe's website -
Adobe Type Manager Deluxe

Thanks Don and Eww for your help.
ATM is up and working, though by somewhat roundabout means that I'm not sure I understand. I wasn't able to make it work after the first attempt at employing your suggestions. So I restarted in OSX (Though I prefer working in System9, both OS's are available on this G4) and I followed the procedures as directed. ATM then began functioning fine, activating fonts as needed. Then I restarted in System9, and everything continued to work perfectly. All's well that ends well. Thanks again.
