Turn it off using the AirPort Utility app in your Applications/Utilities folder.

How to disable Wi-Fi base station AND router functions of a Time Capsule I have one of the last gen (7th gen?) 3TB Time Capsules....using it both as a WiFi router and as a Time Machine volume. Recently I purchased a better WiFi router to replace it. BUT....I would like to still use it as a Time Machine volume. I have turned off the WiFi on the Time Capsule, but how do I shut off the router functions? How do i reconnect my Airport Time Capsule to my wifi? I have moved house and have been unable to reconnect my Apple Time Capsule (2015) to my new wifi In Airport Utility, it states connected to the internet but there is no Time Capsule visible The Time Capsule is flashing yellow In my previous house, I connected via my broadband router - is that compulsory? I thought I would just be able to connect the Time Capsule wirelessly to the same network and back up to the Mac Thank you
