There is no need to use an app to go to webpages that you can access directly. The ipad can connect to any webpage just like a wireless laptop, desktop or even a smartphone.

The mobile pages available thru most of these apps are most of the time the restricted mobile page setup for fast loading thru a slow phone connection of years ago. In today's wifi and 3G/4g speeds, mobile pags like that are not really needed and nobody is stuck only using those mobile pages.

I don't use any mobile pages at all on my iPad, my cell phone...they all run fine.

If anybody has any issues getting webpages and they are using an app to go to the page, or use thier page.....then don't use it. Go to thier page thru safari.........it works on your laptop, then it will work on the iPad.

The iPad is not a mobile device like lots of cell phones or smart phones, people need to not associate these two as the same type device.

*karaniaost.....do you have issues with eBay without using the eBay app and just going thru safari?

One thing to check also on the iPad..

Settings, general, accessibility......turn off "assistive touch" if that is on.

Well the simple things confound the wise. Have done all suggested with no resolution to problem. Thinking about how fast we think the pages should brings info up and how fast we try to scroll through it all. Finally have a usable solution for me right now. To go back into the pages of your search, use the back up arrows on the far upper left and not the " return to search results "on the item description page. Works each time for me. Try it. I just wants to be able to navigate through all this forever changing technology. Happy scrolling.
