why is my iphone 5 beep when talking?

I am having the same problem with my iPhone 5s Gold and I have no case on my phone. Mine will be a really loud shrill beep, like the feedback someone was describing. Just the one deafening beep. I always look at the screen immediately and there is no message or warning or notification, the battery is not low and the phone does not shut off or anything. I have had the phone for 2 months probably and it has happened a total of 6 times probably so it's not on every call, never more than one time during a call. Called Apple and they have no idea. Unfortunately, it doesn't happen enough for me to troubleshoot and really know if waht I did fixed anything so it's hard to work through it with Apple.

I am also experiencing the beeping during calls. It's really annoying.

This issue has nothing to do with the case. Don't laugh, but I just upgraded from my 3GS to 5s and both phones have the beep. Both phones had the issue with the case on and case off. I use AT&T, so I'm thinking it is an issue with them not the iPhone or the issue is with how AT&T is transmitting or processing the phone conversation.

No. My girlfriend has a Sprint 4s and it beeps at me when she calls me on my home phone in addition to my at&t iphone 5.

Very strange. I had the beep, I got a new lifeproof case, the beep hasn't been back for 4 months. Must be multiple causes.

OMG I have an iPhone 6 with the nuud case and this is happening! It's random and intermittent but it's approximately once everyone 5 minutes. Someone suggested it might be heat build-up but that is NOT true because mine does it even if it just booted up. It happens during phone calls and even while the phone is ringing when I'm calling someone. It's a deafening, painful screech sound - much more drastic than a simple "beep" as people are describing it.

Tried to return the case, which I bought 17 days ago, but the retailer Apex Wireless in Toronto will not take it back since they have a 15 day return policy. Lifeproof won't take it back since it wasn't purchased directly from them. This is such a scam and I can't believe I spent $100 on this **** case 😟

Ok, i am having the same issue with my Hitcase 5, after i upgrade it with hitcase Pro+ kit.

I really would like to know if there's a fix for this. I already contacted hitcase so i hope they come up with a solution.
