iPhone 5, iOS 7
same exact problem, I hope it is just the servers...
Yes. The person blaming Jailbreaks is just trying to scare people. Even if that WAS the problem, not sure why they are throwing that at people who clearly state they didn't Jailbreak.
It's just the servers are completely smashed with people trying to do it all at once, all around the world. It will clear up with time, just keep trying. Our other iPhone took over an hour to activate, we still have one that isn't yet. It will happen, just try periodically.
It's a very widespread problem at the moment; not just you. You can keep tapping "Try Again" or just wait a few hours/days and it should eventually activate. If all else fails, and I hate to say it... contact Apple Support.
Apple was apparently unprepared for the millions of devices that are simultaneously trying to grab the update. Some computer company, huh?
Does anyone know when this will be fixed? I need my phone:(!! please help.. im really upset!
It's not broken, just overloaded. Try again every few minutes (not every few seconds, because that just adds to the overload).
My phone got activated.

Great, glad to hear it. So it took about 1 1/2 hours. That's useful information.
My phone still gives me the same message, Factory unlocked iphone 5 , its bothering me so much now
Thanks
Millions upon milliions of iDevice owners are trying to download the biggest change to iOS. The servers are overloaded because of that.
Try this.
Install iTunes on a fresh computer where it was not installed before. And then connect your phone and activate it.
Servers are overwrought and apple is overwrought, Not the sam since the death of Mr. Jobs.
will atleast the problem go off in some hours of time ?
Yes Servers are overloaded and Apple won't admit it.
Nonsense. There have been days like this with every update, even when he was alive. There are 900 million eligible devices. And everyone wants it at the same time. I'm waiting a few days. 6.1.3 isn't bad.
