iCloud Push for Mail Still Not Working IOS 7

Since last night, I am still having problems with my iCloud email push. I have done a complete refresh reset of the phone, and still no success. This is happening with both iPhone and iPad on IOS 7. The only time I can see new emails generated is by opening and going into the App, and then it will download all the new emails. All settings have been checked over and over.

I just tried a Restore to 7.0.2 on my iPad Mini and selected Set as New iPad. Unfortunatly, after signing into my iCloud account, I still did not have push email working on that account, despite the correct setting for push email in the Settings, and after rebooing the iPad. It was worth a try.

I can't see how that could affect it. I have an iPad mini running ios6 that also doesn't have push email. Something happened on the server side to our accounts when we upgraded to ios7 that disabled push. Also added the 5s in the midst of this and prior to restoring it from my iphone 5 backup I signed in with my icloud account and it didn't get push mail either.

All,

Ironically, the battery on my phone went bad, and the Apple Genius bar also found some antenna problems, so they swapped me out *with a new/different* iphone 5.

The phone was brand new, and was completely new software, and my iCloud was still not pushing.

I have 6 IOS devices, its the same story. My wife's iCloud pushes perfectly. My iCloud account does not.

I created a brand new iCloud account. That as well, pushes perfectly.

It is, *without a doubt*, related uniquely to my iCloud account and/or the specific servers this account is accessing.

I'm not sure what you mean by this.

On my iPhone if I set up a new email account and select iClould, put in my username and password and set up the account that way it all works fine and I get push notifications.

If rather than using the default iCloud option I select Other when setting up the account and then put in the iClould IMAP settings manually (imap.mail.me.com then under username and password I just put in my iCloud username and password I am then finding that this was the push is very unreliable. It doesn't work 90% of the time but sometimes it does. The latter worked perfectly under ios 6. The issue for me is I like to use a different SMTP address and this way shoe a different from email address (not iCloud) and I can't under the default iCloud template,

What I am saying is that I think the problem may be that if your iCloud email address ends in something other than <name>@icloud.com, it is not being pushed to your device. By forwarding my <name>@me.com email to my new <name>@icloud.com address I get push on the new account and at least I get the emails almost immediately. You don't need to replace your main icloud account but just add the new one. Your will get each incoming email twice, one from push and one from fetch, but at least you get them and you can still send email from your main icloud account.

I need to get some of my mail for work ASAP such as phone messages on my bussiness number or customer troubles. That is why I set up the new account. I also tried sending my @me through the @icloud and it didn't work so I set up a whole new @icloud account. I is definitely a problem with which server the emails are going through.

Count me in as having this same issue. After the upgrade to iOS7 my new iPhone 5S, as well as my iPad no longer get mail pushed from iCloud. I've tried restoring, etc...nothing helps. My Gmail account still pushes mail. It's very frustrating as my wife's new iPhone and iPad Mini both get push mail. I'd like to see this issue resolved before I have to move to using my Gmail account for all mail.
