Logitech Spotlight does not work with Ventura

Logitech Spotlight presentation clicker does not work with Ventura. The next and previous slide buttons don't give any response. Running the device under Monterey runs smoothly. I believe that the bluetooth connection is the issue. If you connect the Spotlight to a Monterey mac it is recognised as a keyboard, if you connect it to Ventura it is recognised as a mouse - and the imitation of pressing the arrow right and arrow left buttons does not occur.

Hi! Had this problem for weeks since buying new macbook pro. On old one everything worked. Was in contact with logitech support for weeks, all they asked was install/reinstall, give permissions. None worked. Even bought second presenter to check if old one is broken.

But i found this and all functions works (not thanks to logitech support):

-in accessibility tab: You have to REMOVE logipresentation

-then add with '+' find logipresentation in aps folder - but DO NOT ADD THIS ONE

-right click on logipresentation, 'show in finder', then right click on it again, 'show original'

-add this one

then all functions works, both with dongle and bluetooth.

Do you have the option to switch between functions? I only seem to have the highlight function but not the pointer or the magnifier

I talked to apple support about this for half an hour three weeks ago. Strange they say that this is not known to them.

The pointer and the highlight functions are the only functions that work on my device. (answer to c6fyf abowe)

Thank you for your kind Advice Gary. I have given the permissions that you suggest. My Spotlight is still recognized as a mouse though, making the forward and previous buttons disabled.

After 3 months of trying stuff NOW IT WORKS, download "logi options +" and they have the fix for that

After troubleshooting the Privacy&Security Setting above, try entering the Logitech App and setting the functions for "Next"and "Previous" buttons. For me it is working fine on Ventura.

Your are soooooo great. My forward button was not working, it worked with a long push, but not in the short push. Now, thanks to you, all is working fine. Thaaaaank.
