Wallpaper when plugged into monitor
Hello! When I plug my Macbook Air M2 into a monitor through HDMI my wallpaper changes to a picture I had set 5 years ago. Is there a way to change this to my current wallpaper? Thanks

Perhaps try a different display adapter; some of those use 'display link'.
Other options were more likely to work than HDMI, while I've used few..
Sometimes a cable may work, best without an adapter.

When repurposing older Mac portables; I include adapters.
And as their system software saw update, sometimes different
quality adapters or cables are required to assist their function.
