A problem occurred with this web page so it was reloaded

Yeah, I did all that multiple times, up to and including a full reset back to blank iPad install. Sometimes sites work, sometimes not, No rhyme or reason. CNN and Facebook are the guaranteed fails for me, almost every time.

I think the problem is intermittent, which is why I think people thinks sometimes these steps fix it, when in fact it hasn't. Maybe its problem with Universal Links, there's some interplay with the server calls there, that could contribute to intermittent nature.

hi everyone, I have an iPad 2 and have been getting this more and more frequently. I have found a cure that has helped me.

i Have tried the three main solutions mentioned here many many times, and had no luck. they are...

1 Goto settings/safari/clear Internet data etc

2 reset network settings

3 hold home and power button for 15 secs till Apple logo appears.

when I tried each of these individually they did not work.

USING ALL THREE CONSECUTIVLY WORKED FOR ME.

do not, as I did, try option one then load up safari to see if it worked Etc.

just do all three one after the other. don't connect to a network or try safari in between these three steps as 'whatever it is that stops the page from loading' seems to hang about im the memory somewhere till you get rid of it doing these steps in order...

try it, what have you got to lose ... Good luck everyone

I am so happy I stumbled upon this particular thread because the solution posted above by dmcdayton works. I've lived with this reloading thing for a couple of months and tried every suggestion I'd come across. Nothing worked and to be honest I'm skeptical this will keep working. But I've been online several times today since applying the fix without a single page reload. Thank you, thank you.

I tried three other browsers for the iPad (Chrome, Firefox, and UC) but didn't like any of them.

I Have an iPad mini 2 and have tried all of the recommended solutions to no avail. What corrected this problem for me was to turn off "Background App Refresh" (Settings/General/Background App Refresh). This frees up valuable memory and CPU time in my soon to be obsolete mini 2. It'll also help with battery draining.

Hello everyone, i searched 3 ways to fix this problem on the internet.

I tried 3 ways. . . I can't fix it on my ipad air 2 (version 9.0), OMG ....

But i found this way can fix this issue by myself.

Go to 1.settings -> 2.General ->3.Language & Region ->4.Ipad Language -> and change any other language (for easy you can change english au,uk,us,can ,etc...) ,then open safari and check it.

I SUCCEEDED ( reduce 95%, but somtimes when you force stop safari (don't close tab) and open again -> maybe you'll meet this issue again (solve it , you close tab and force stop safari -> open safari and check)

and of course, if you change the language previous again, you'll meet this issue. Remember it.
