Scratches/small dents on chrome trim

I've noticed a few very small dents on the chrome trim of my iPhone. I use the Incase rubber case that covers the chrome trim, so I'm not sure how they got there. Anybody noticed the same thing?

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.4.10)

Well, it looks like we are getting some mixed answers on this issue. I guess frequent cleaning and a less-discerning eye when it comes to looking at the rim is the only solution.

I carry my iPhone bare, with only the screen film on it, and the only scratches I have are on the Apple logo on the back. I've looked at cases, but haven't found one I like yet.
