G5 won't recognize new RAM

I bought two sticks of this RAM http://eshop.macsales.com/item/Other...g/3200DDR1024/ and put it in my Dual G5, following these instructions http://www.info.apple.com/usen/cip/pdf/g5/memory_c.pdf , but when I go to 'ABout this Mac,' it doesn't recognize that I've added RAM. I put the two sticks in slots 3 and 4 of the bottom half. I then tried putting the RAM into slots 3 on top and 3 on bottom, and then 4 on top and 4 on bottom....but it still won't recognize it. Did I do something wrong?

A tip on getting the RAM cards in with less force. Push the card in until you feel it rest on top of the pin contacts in the slot. Now pull each side locking tab up until it hits the edge of the card. You're not trying to lock them, the slots aren't matched up yet, you're just staging the things. Push down firmly (OK to do one side at a time if that's easier for you) until you hear and feel the snap as the tabs lock in place.

Pulling the tabs up to the sides of the card before trying to seat it makes a great difference in how much force it takes to install properly. Can't see what's happening but when the tabs are swung all the way out they obviously present a bad leverage or some kind of direct interference to the card.
