iPhone U-Connect and Chrysler's MyGig radio

I have a new Chrysler vehicle with the MyGig radio in it.. Every iPhone I have tried to connect to the U-Connect feature has a strange quirk.. it pairs just fine it will even voice dial and whatnot but as soon as the phone starts to ring who you are calling the U-Connect and the iPhone disconnect.. any ideas?

Please Apple Fix this issue. Between the $400 phone and the $1800 radio I am not a happy camper right now.

Today I received an update for the MyGIG radio/navigation in my 2008 Grand Cherokee. It was sent out to fix hard disk and crashing issues as well as update various unspecified radio, navigation and BT functions in models with navigation. (There was no mention of iPhone issues.) The supplied disc updates the software for MyGIG models RER/REW - NAV to version 9.713.

*GOOD NEWS!!!!* After updating, my iPhone 3g now connects perfectly with U-Connect BT in my car. Voice is transmitted normally. I haven't tried initiating calls from U-Connect yet as I have to reprogram all stored #s and voice recognition after the update, but I'll report any problems if encountered.

Hi, can we download version 9.7xx to install it ourselves, or do we have to go through the Chrysler dealer? If so, where can we get the software update to download it? I have a 3G Apple iPhone that does not work with the MyGIG system of my 2008 Town & Country. Very frustrating. The MyGIG system was working fine with my previous phone (an HTC). Thanks a lot in advance.

I am stuck with my brand new iPhone 3G and my Town & Country's MyGIG system (they won't work together; apparently they pair fine but won't work at all afterwards). I updated my 3G iPhone to version 2.0.1 today. I also updated my MyGIG REN model (non-navigation MyGIG radio) to version 9.112 (supposed to be the latest version of software for this model). I downloaded the software update from http://mofv.com/MyGIG/. Well, still no luck: after both updates the iPhone 3G won't work with MyGIG. I already reported this to Apple. Any other suggestions? Thanks.

Hi,

I was rolling in my 07' Chrysler Aspen with uConnect this weekend and discovered that my iPhone 3G is not connecting to my system. I was using a G1 iPhone before and never had any issues. The phone pairs fine, but uConnect just won't activate when I receive or make calls.

APPLE PLESE HELP US FIX THIS ISSUE ASAP! THERE'S A LOT OF DISSAPPOINTED FOLKS OUT THERE COUNTING ON YOU.
