Album Art mismatched

I transfered my music and artwork onto the ipod touch, but I've found that much of the album artwork does not match the album it's on. For example, in Coverflow my Bruce Springsteen album art shows up for my Dispatch album.
I've checked my itunes library, but the album artwork is correct on that.

Does anyone know what's wrong?

I've had a similar experience, and what worked for me was to:

* Do a search for the album on Google or CD Universe, and save the album artwork as a jpg in a seperate folder (I created a new "artwork" folder in the iTunes folder on the hard drive;
* In iTunes, select all the songs on the album, right click and select Get Info;
* Using the check boxes, select the attributes you would like displayed (I choose Album, Artist, Genre) and also check the box next to Artwok, then double click the empty artwork box;
* Navigate to the artwork folder, and select the corresponding jpg;
* Click ok and let iTunes update.

This has worked flawlessly for me on my iPod Touch. As mentioned by other users, you need to be careful about "generic" album names such as Greatest Hits or Best Of, as well as making sure sure you don't have two names for the same album... eg my spelling for the album Age of Winters was different, which resulted in the songs being spilt between two albums (one of each spelling).

Sorry for rambling on, I hope the steps I've outlined above help the issue for other users.

Cheers,

Ben

For what it's worth, I don't think it's the album art that's mismatched. I think it's the actual song being mismatched with the title. When I came across one that didn't line up, I did a search for the song title (that matched what was on the album art) and played it. That also played the same incorrect song. In other words, the iPod is losing the connection between the actual songs and their titles.

I've been having the same issue, but I was able to fix it, although it took a very long time.

1. Unselect all the music with the wrong album artwork.
2. Sync your iPod
3. Check the music you unchecked before, and sync your iPod. (If this doesn't work, check the music you selected in small bits of around 6 - 10 songs and keep syncing until all your music is synced)

This hasn't only occured in my iPod touch--it's also occured in my sister's iPod Nano

Same kind of problem on my iPod touch...

For some albums, wether I choose horizontal display (coverflow) or vertical display of the album cover, the picture displayed will change...

I have reinitialized my iPOD and re-synchronized my complete library... to no avail. Some album artworks are stil out of sync (with different albums that before the new sync...)
