PowerMac G5 does not read recently burned DVDs
My PowerMac G5 1.8GHz (2003) has a SuperDrive Pioneer DVR-106D and burns without any problem any type of DVDs (video DVD and data DVD). However, when I insert those DVDs in the computer to read them, they are ejected a few seconds later. It's odd because the DVDs I burned a few months ago are not ejected at all.
I tested my newly burned video DVDs in a standalone DVD player and they work.
I decided to burn CDs (audio CD and data CD) and see what happens... they are not ejected when I read them with my computer.
So basically, my PowerMac G5 refuses to read the DVDs it burns. Any idea? Any tips?
NOTE: My DVD drive seems to take some time before it starts to burn. It's as if it starts spinning, then stops, the starts again, the stops again, and then again it starts... and doesn't stops from now.
