Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT

Could not contact the iTunes Store to authorize?

I am getting a message saying " Some of the items in the iTunes library... were not copied to the Apple TV... because the Apple TV could not contact the iTunes store to authorize."

This problem seems to affect 100 purchased songs - so I am able to sync the majority of my purchased music - but for some reason, not ALL of it.

Apple TV software is up to date as is iTunes software... I have tried recreating my iTunes library, resetting and factory restoring Apple TV, etc. Yes I am running everybody's favorite OS, Windows Vista...

Anybody have any suggestions???

I agree that DRM is almost useless and only serves to make it difficult for people who do pay for their media. People who don't pay and get it free have no worries of DRM. Shouldn't it be the other way around?

Even for people how know nothing about DRM and copy protection.. I can can use SnapProx and record my screen, audio/video while I'm watching a movie. I can then save that, upload it, and anyone can watch it. And there are even easier ways.

I'm proud to say I pay for all my music, movies and software. I just wish I was rewarded with the ease of use to play that content anywhere and on anything. I'm glad Apple is moving away from DRM, at least this current model.
