Airport Extreme keeps freezing

Hard drive or not it does the same {post edited by moderator} to me, I am trying out 7.2 right now as that's the only 2 options is giving me,

I have been a solid apple guy for a long time but this is downright crap.

My Airport was working fine - Then all of a sudden, it keeps freezing.

I am having the same problem that has been discussed. I have to keep unplugging or resetting my airport extreme in order to be connected on the Internet. What happened? I don't remember upgrading my Airport? What is firmware? I see that discussed in the earlier comments. How do I downgrade to get the airport working all the time? Can someone give a step-by-step process? I have no idea what to do?

Same here... I have practically the same set up as Cartbran. Got the MBPro and AEBS as an early gift with a 500 Gb Seagate external drive as a Black Friday Circuit City special. I do have one difference. The airdisk is split into three partitions and is formatted as HFS+. HOWEVER, it also shows up under Shared Items as letters and numbers with a Windows-style icon next to it. And sometimes when I can't access the partitions or files through the mac icon I can get to them through the Windows icon. And, more often than not, when accessing the any partition, the partition will show up on the desktop as either a network icon or an airport icon disk. Now, I believe the way apple programmed these is based on the lunar cycle, sunspots, and the price of tea in China.

I am having a similar problem. I upgraded to OS 4.7.11 yesterday and now I cannot print. I posted to another discussion but this one is more current. Can you tell me if I can get new firmware for the older OS?

I have been having the same issue as many others here, with my AEBS just falling off line. I was going to revert back to 7.2, but it only gives me the option of 7.2.1.... any recommendations?
