New Front Row and Airtunes

Is there a way to listen to the audio with the new front row in leopard over airtunes like you could in tiger. I was very disappointed to find out after installing the new operating system that using front row only uses the speakers on my macbook instead of streaming it to my airport express.

macbook, Mac OS X (10.5)

I'm not unimpressed with Leopard, in fact, many features in Leopard really impress me (improved performance, near-instant spotlight, very fast application startup times, better Safari, QuickView etc etc)

I do have the impression that most people (including myself) tend to judge the Operating System only by the 'Extras' that are delivered with it (which is 'justified' as they -are- part of the package and form the most 'apparent' changes).

The most important parts of the OS are 'under the hood' and are at the core of the OS. Apple has (again) put many improvements in this and the fact that most people don't even 'notice' these changes might be considered a compliment to Apple.

The 'bugs' I've noticed so far are minor, maybe inconvenient, but nothing that can't be fixed in a future update.

Man oh man, ;(
In the past I would update/upgrade all the time, but it just scares that crap out of me now.
What feature will Apple take away without disclosing...?

Is it just me, or do updates/upgrades scare other people . iTunes, Iphone, QuickTimePro, iPhoto and now Leopard (front row). It seems like I've been burned a lot recently.
Apple are you listening? This policy *****! I love macs/apple, but I just don't trust updates/upgrades anymore.

Is there a place where Apple posts features lost with upgrades?

Sorry, had blue screen of **** on leopard install(install and Archive issue) and now I go to play music and nothing. Hmm? Oh. yeah. ya can't do that anymore.... ;( My Digital Lifestyle has been downgraded.

Sorry for the rank. Hey Apple, please fix this.

Bah! This really is rather poor Apple...

You ask us to buy Airtunes citing its ability to stream wirelessly. You tell us how great Front Row is and how it turns your Mac into the media hub of your home. And then it just disappoints on ridiculous oversights like this. No wireless streaming?! Come on!

Front Row is such a simple concept. I just don't understand why it doesn't deliver when it so should.

Who on earth beta'd Front Row and let it go out like this?!!

This seems to be a problem for several people, why not revert to the Front Row that Tiger used? I still like the UI much more than the current version, and it allows you to use airtunes still.

Front Row 1.3.1 http://www.apple.com/support/downloads/frontrow131.html

The installer wouldn't let me continue even after I had deleted Leopard's Front Row, (be sure to archive it somewhere first) so I used 'Pacifist' to bypass the install requirements, things are working pretty well now.

It's NOT the same as using front row, sorry.

If you use itunes so you can stream, then the Apple remote won't control the volume of itunes. So you cannot control the volume AND the music from the same remote, which is why I'm guessing most people are peeved. I am one of those, add me to the list.

NOW, I have to either use two remotes to control the music, or I have to listen to it through the built-in (crappy overall) speakers.

Yeah, this shouldn't have made it out the door like this. Apple's supposed to be better than this. This is feeling more & more rushed.

Since 10.5 arrived w/ my new MB, I have had to hit the forums more than any time past. Freakin' A, man, Freakin' A.
