10.5 Front Row - No Art for Remote Source

Has anyone talked to Apple about this

Just updated to 10.5.1 both on my Mac Mini and iMac and iTunes 7.5. Still not working for me either.

WORKAROUND for remote ripped DVDs in VIDEO_TS folders!

drop movie artwork jpeg in folder where VIDEO_TS resides and rename it "preview".

QUESTION? Some of my genre subfolders SCROLL the artwork, and some of them FADE the movies one-by-one. Don't know what decides this...

Same issue here. (OS 10.5.1 & Front Row 2.1 on Mac, iTunes 7.5.0.20 on WinXP with media library)

This is very disappointing, especially when Apple has Front Row's Apple TV-style interface listed in its 300 new Leopard features:

I am in the same boat. No Cover Art shown for remote sources. Does Apple ever look at these forums and provide insight?

I have the same problem. Dear Apple, kindly fix the bug!

Same here. Just installed Leopard on a MacBook, with 5.1 update. No cover art when Front Row is playing music from my iMac iTunes library.

I can only follow-up on this problem.

No artwork shown in Front Row, when I try to play music from a shared library (Windows-version of iTunes).

Apple software is starting to show the poor testing and quality of the software found in the WIndows world. This is not an essential feature but it is the one of the features that makes this product mac-like. Oh... And I spent a lot of time loading all album art for it not to show up when I have guests coming over for Christmas so I can show off!!

Just adding one more voice to say that I also do not see artwork from a remote source. Also don't see MPAA ratings that I spent a lot of time adding with Lostify. Hope Apple fixes this in 10.5.2.

I also have the same problem. I'd buy a couple more macs to use on TVs in the house but with this broken it kind of takes the fun out of Front Row 2.0. Please get it fixed Apple.

new front row does not fix this. I am guessing this is the way it is from now on.

I've just submitted feedback myself. I JUST got my brand new Mac Mini and was really looking forward to using this feature.

MAKE SURE YOU DO SO AS WELL! EVEN REPEATED REQUESTS! We need to make sure we're heard if we have any hope of seeing this done.

In the meantime, being as I'm brand new to the Mac world, is it possible to go back to the older version of Front Row in order to get it working?
