iSync 3 : list of compatible phones

I just tried the link and can still download them without any problems.

I just bought a Nokia 6133. I got the 2 devices (my mac and the phone) to recognize each other but when I try to use iSync it tells me the 6133 isn't supported by iSync. I currently run version 10.4.11 and iSync version 2.4. Do I need to upgrade to get iSync to recognize the 6133? I have been trying to find a T-mobile phone for 2 weeks that will sync with iCal but don't know much about it. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

Is there a way to modify one of the included iSync plugins to make it work with the J700 or E900 model?

A Nokia 6133 is supported by the Nova Media iSync plugin package under Mac OS X 10.4.x, but neither it nor the Nokia 6126 are supported under Mac oS X 10.5 or later.

A better choice might be something like the Nokia 6086, a simple, inexpensive model which supports 802.11x WiFi and the T-Mobile HotSpot @Home option. The Nova Media link above lists other devices which are compatible with both T-Mobile service and with iSync.

Ok for the j600 of Samsung. But has anyone a plugin for the j 700 ? Or does one know how to change a plugin, so it will work for the J700 ?

You misunderstand. The Nokia 6133 mobile handset is supported under Mac OS X 10.5 or later, but not under Mac OS X 10.4: using one requires the installation of a suitable plugin, which is not required for support under any Leopard release. It was the requirement for the novamedia plugin which I was indicating was not applicable under Leopard, because support for the device is provided by iSync 3.

Notice that the user who's message I replied to indicated that he was using Mac OS X 10.4.11. Your solution requires that he upgrade to a current Mac OX 10.5 release, a significantly greater cost than a Leopard upgrade, and one he might not want to make for unrelated reasons.
