Want my iCal info drawer back!!

Hi,
just frustrated that they cut the ical info drawer. I know that it might be not very hand on small screens because it decreased the size of the actual calender - but with the new iCal I can´t see any info about events and todos - I first to doubleclick every event to get info - and then the bubble pops up. I´m on a two monitor setup, and when I doubleclick a todo on the right sight of the screen the bubble is hanging between the gaps of the monitors and I have to move it to be able to read. When I close it and doubleclick again it is back to the odd position...grrr...
not so happy now with this evolution - a preference of either bubble or drawer would have been cool - also the possiblity to see the bubble only with one click...
Best regards - Christoph

Just want to add my frustration to the pile here. It's something that I put a lot of info into over the years and now it's basically gone. So I was using the iCal as a sort of journal with the notes feature and now it's a full on hassle. Are they being put out to pasture because of some integration with Mail and other stuff? Anyway, it f'n *****

I agree! This couldn't be a more foolish thing to have done!

The little popup is a move in the wrong direction!

It now take 4 mouse clicks to edit an event in iCal as apposed to a single click in the Tiger version.
That's 2 clicks (double click) to open the pop up.
One more click on the Edit button.
Make your edits
and a 4th click on the Done button.

Come on. That's ridiculous!

My feedback has been sent. Everyone else make sure to send feedback!
Apple does listen when the numbers are high enough.

Glad this thread was started... here is my feedback to the iCal team:

"Wanted to chime in regarding the removal of the info sidebar in iCal
3.0 under Leopard. We are 1 of 7 studios that each employ anywhere
between 20-50 full time and seasonal employees. All of our schedules
are created and viewed in iCal and shared on an in-house server. We
have anywhere from 1 to 20 iCal events per studio per day that provide
considerable job details to those employees. Without the ability to
browse via the info sidebar or a similarly simple solution iCal is
unusable to us in any practical terms. I implore you to reconsider the
removal of the sidebar functionality."

Hopefully we'll see a change soon.
