Keynote Won't Play video on presentation

I am doing a presentation for school and I am trying to put in a .mov file into my presentation. When I play my presentation, all that I can hear is the sound of the video but not picture, the screen is just blank. I've tried different formats and different videos and nothing seems to work. I am just going to play if off my monitor that is connected to my Mac mini, I am not going to connect it to a projector or anything like that. Videos do play normally on QuickTime. Anyone know a solution of have heard of this problem before? I am using Keynote '08 and Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard.

Mac mini 1.83 Intel Core Duo, 2GB RAM, 80GB HDD, Mac OS X (10.5), PowerMac G3 Server (10.2.8), iMac Sage, iMac 333, and iBook SE 466

I have tried every "solution" on this board. I have an Intel IMac, 10.4.11, Keynote '08. Quicktime movie (have tried all possible format exports from IMovie) plays on the canvas, but not when the "play" button is clicked to show it full screen. It occasionally shows one frame and quits. I have tried the build (start movie/stop movie) and it doesn't make any difference. Is anyone else having this problem?

Its too bad that Keynote 08 is so buggy, especially with regard to exporting voiceover in QT or embedding QT movies into self-running presentations. It used to be rock solid for me and everything worked like it was supposed to.

Here is how I got a 3 minute QT movie to play more than one frame when it was embedded in a self-running Keynote presentation. After several hours of frustration, I set the slide transition to have a long delay. At first I set the delay for the same length of the movie assuming the delay should be equal to the number of seconds in the movie, but I ended up tweaking it downward by trial and error until there was no delay between the end of the movie and the transition to the next slide.

Hope this helps some of you that are struggling with this.

Its interesting that four other QT movies that were originally embedded in the same slide presentation it was created in Keynote 06 still work fine without this workaround being necessary.

I really hope Apple soon releases an update that fixes these bugs in Keynote as I rely on this software to create killer presentations.
