itunes for 8.6 os

Hi!
I recently got "classic" iMac from a family member that went to PC & just wanted rid of it. I have an eMac w/OSX & don't have any knowledge with this os. I've used 9.2 but nothing prior to that.
I want to use this iMac for song storage because I already have 2 other computers (1 mac, 1 pc) & that's really the only thing I wanted it for. It is still in good working condition (I'm using it right now to send this post) although it is slow. If I could find a use for it then I could keep it, otherwise it's just taking up space.
Are there any iTunes programs that will work on this iMac? The only thing I have come across requires an os of 9 or later. I thought I could just download the upgrade but I read that you have buy it. I'm really not interested in spending any money on this machine unless it is very minimal.
Here are the computer details: iMac 8.6 PowerPC G3 w/333 MHz processor.
Any help would be great! Thanks in advance!

ITunes Mac OS 8.6 patch - Unlocks the iTunes installer and application, so that they will run on Mac OS 8.6 (Mac OS 8.0/8.1 and 8.5/8.5.1 use a different interface library which is not compatible with iTunes.)

Download of iTunes version 1.x is also available at this site.
