If you forget Admin Password

I got an airport extreme to be able to do ichat video chat, but I need my password to download, so the thing normally pops up, and i type the password, so It pops up, and the username isnt there, and I cant remember my user name, and I HAVE TRIED ALLLLLL POSSIBILITIES!!!! and it wont work. So i find this article in the help app in my mac about changing admin passowrd, and it says to put Leopard disc in, restart comp, and wait for the tone, press C, and then let go when you see the spinning gear. I HAVE TRIED THAT 6 TIMES and it doesnt work. Any help?

ALSO in accounts, it says I have a standard account, no admin.

iMac Intel, Mac OS X (10.5)

The problem with booting from the CD after your account has been set to standard is that it requires the password and admin account to restart it. So for me i followed the instructions by machelper27 and it worked perfectly! so for those who are still having problems, follow his instructions and it will allow you to make your account admin again! THANK YOU!!!!
