iPhone ringtones

Want to assign ringtones to my iPhone but going to view and view options, ringtones not showing as an option can anyone help ?

iMac24, Mac OS X (10.5)

you can follow the instruction above this discussion from "alphastream" but i used nero wave editor to shorten the music. here's how i did:

1. open an mp3 file from nero wave editor.
2. save it as wave file.
3. remove unwanted part of the song by selection and pressing cut icon.
4. constantly play the remaining section to check you are cutting the right part.
5. save the file but this time chose mp3 extension file. Nero will do the decoding

then go back on top of this discussion to do the rest on the instruction.
