Backward apostrophe missing on keybaord

Thanks for the info. Of course we are talking here about a particular ASCII character (U+0060) which is sometimes required in passwords. Whatever it might be called or however it might be used elsewhere in language, the fact that it cannot be created with the iPhone/iPod Touch keyboard is a major mistake/omission/bug.

I recently came across a need for this when typing Hawaiian words and island names. It's called an okina. Not something that is needed often, to be sure, but still.

For the Okina the best thing to use is U+02BB Modifier Letter Turned Comma, if your font has it.
