Best Way To Apply Protective Plastic/Shield

I bought the Power Support Crystal Film today for my (yet to be opened) iPhone. So before I open it, which will be later tonight, what's the best/effective way to apply the protective plastic on the iPhone LCD? Please advise. As I don't want to get any air bubble or small dust specks underneath the plastic.

I would suggest to take off the plastic that covers the screen protector only half way and gradually separate the rest as you attach it to the screen (you do not want any finger prints on it)

the video that was posted earlier here in this thread, is it exactly similar to how the Crystal Film I have will be applied to the iPhone? or is it different?

Well, you can always make a loop of cellophane tape and use that instead of your fingers to control the film. It's also not that difficult to redo; it's static cling film.

How exactly is Applecare "very much worth it" when your iPhone is still under warranty (even WITHOUT Applecare)?

I just wanna make sure I put it on the moment I take it out of the box so I don't have any dust or anything under the protector.

As a long-time Apple user, it has been my experience that AppleCare is an excellent investment. And quite frankly this has little or nothing to do with the topic of this discussion.

Thanks again. I'll be opening up my iPhone in a few hours, and will be applying the protector and will definitely let you know how it goes. 🙂
