I have that latest iTunes version on my Mac (running Tiger) and when I click the iTunes Store or Shopping Cart button, I instantly get an Unable To Connect message telling me to check my internet connection. I obviosly have an active connection because I am starting this thread.
So I went over to my iPhone and opened up the iTunes store, and it also doesn't work. Do you guys have the same problem?

I cannot connect to itunes store either and get the same message. I just authorized my daughter's mac for her ipod account. The really weird thing is that I am having no problems connecting to the itunes store from my pc/windows
I'm having the same issue in Las Vegas. I'm at work, so for I thought that my company had finally chopped off our access to iTunes. It appears that's not the problem though.
